Both extensive use of analysis & engineering tools and close collaboration with our customers ensure us the delivery of an optimized design.

Our experience is related not only to satellite ground systems and space surveillance but also to ground stations, in-orbit testing, monitoring and control, antennas, radiofrequency, signal processing, baseband and networking. We develop our own products where COTS solutions does not fit the requirements. Our team is trained and skilled in a variety of ground segment related technologies:

We use a combination of COTS parts and customized hardware design in our products. 
This approach minimizes risk and maximize value while meeting the requirements.

Our CAD designs are performed in 2D and 3D models. Design drawings, schematic
layouts and cabling drawings are performed in-house, while manufacturing and integration is performed using both CELESTIA Technologies Group and external supplier facilities.

CELIS offers a complete range of design services based on a flexible approach with the capability to tailor our designs according to customer specifications and needs. They cover system, hardware, software, embedded and custom product design, depending on the customer requirements. The input to our design services can be either user requirement document or a detailed product or system requirement document.

We use industry standard analysis and modelling tools combined with own in -house analysis tools and experience in order to offer the optimal solution for the input requirements.

Jointly to design services, we can provide added value services such as manufacturing, integration and testing, training and support services.

We are specialized in small and medium volumes of custom and cutting-edge technology solutions in order to meet the most demanding requirements.

CELIS offers product development services where standard COTS does not meet customer requirements.

Product development is based on CELIS R&D effort and the heritage and background of CELIS staff in providing products, systems and services for the space market.

We can develop our products either from high level product requirements or from detailed product and concept specification. One of our main fields of expertise is product development for equipment and systems refurbishment or replacement, where bespoke solutions rather than COTS meets are needed.

Product development covers design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and optional training and support services.

All our products are developed and tested according industry standards and are CE certified.


Main expertise of CELIS is system engineering and development. CELIS staff has developed systems for relevant national and international customers in the space sector, such as; space agencies, satellite operators, system integrators, satellite manufacturing, public agencies, for over 25 years. Past projects have included systems as Satellite Ground Control Segments, complex ground stations to Space Surveillance Radar systems. Most of our systems are turnkey delivered.

Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) makes your system being reliable, maintainable and safe in order to perform operationally in an effective way. Our ILS services starts at the earliest design phase, taking into account requirements to develop systems delivered with a logistics service according to the customer needs.
